Meet the Editor Series by EBEN Suomi ry: Guest Editor, Special Issue, Journal of Business Ethics

In 2025, EBEN Finland will continue the Meet the Editor series, which will also include sessions with guest editors and authors. This initiative aims to provide more opportunities to discuss publishing from various perspectives and in different formats. These events are free and open to everyone interested.
The Meet the Editor series will kick off with a presentation and Q&A session featuring guest editor Doris Schneeberger, who is currently a member of the guest editorial team for the special issue "Animals and Business Ethics: Reimagining Multispecies Co-existence in Business and Society" at the Journal of Business Ethics. Doris will introduce the special issue and share her personal experiences related to preparing and submitting a special issue proposal for the journal.
The session will take place on Thursday, March 27, from 10–11 AM (Finnish time) on Teams.

Doris Schneeberger is a Postdoctoral University Assistant at the Institute for Change Management and Management Development at the Vienna University of Economics and Business in Austria. Her current research focuses on the role of nonhuman animals in organizations from a business ethics perspective. She is the author of the book Envisioning a Better Future for Nonhuman Animals: Towards Future Animal Rights Declarations and has published her research in Business Ethics, the Environment & Responsibility, The Oxford Handbook of Animal Organization Studies, among many other publications. Additionally, she has served as co-convenor for sub-themes and streams on this topic at the EGOS Conference 2023 and the Gender, Work & Organization Conference 2024.
